Jonathan has extensive experience in a wide area of property and real estate transactions, including purchase and sale of share or asset sales, and project development transactions. He has represented landlords, tenants, property developers, investment holding companies, government institutions, foreign and domestic investors, major financial institutions and independent purchasers in full range of financing and securities transactions for real estate and corporate assets, including cross-border transactions and properties involving the Urban Redevelopment Authority, Housing Development Board and Jurong Town Corporation. He has also been involved in many projects dealing with planning issues, including the change of use and redevelopment of existing projects. Jonathan has acted for major mortgagees and lenders in myriad of security documentation such as mortgage, debentures, assignments, charges, guarantees, deeds of subordination, trust deeds, indemnities, priority sharing deeds, and inter-creditor agreements.

Jonathan is a practising Chartered Secretary and an Associate with the Singapore Association of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators. He has vast experience in legal, secretarial and corporate affairs of MNCs, listed companies, SMEs, start-up businesses and major societies of all kinds, domestic and abroad. He has numerous directorships under his belt and has wealth of experience in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, reverse take-overs, disposal of investment portfolios, public listings, joint-ventures, regulatory and compliance matters as well as contracts and agreements.

Jonathan possesses an Executive Masters in Business Administration from the globally renowned Helsinki School of Economics, now known as Aalto University, in Finland. Between Years 2008 to 2010, Jonathan was appointed Executive Director/Chief Executive Officer of 3 public companies listed in the Singapore Exchange involved in real estate development, education, energy, and telecommunication sectors.
